Appzhao in the Classroom

Anyone can see how apps and mobile devices have become integrated into our everyday lives. From keeping up with social media to navigating our daily adventures, mobile media and apps have become part of the world we live in. One new place to keep a lookout for apps and mobile media is in our schools. Thousands of public school districts have already begun to incorporate iPads and educational apps into the classroom. With thousands of education based apps available in the app store, tablets now offer students an interactive learning experience far more engaging than the standard text book. Tablets can give students access to a plethora of educational content such as videos, games, and readings. They can even be used to collect homework or take attendance.

It is clear that tablets hold huge potential in the world of education but with the abundance of Apps available how are educators to find and share the apps most relevant to them?
